Cambridge, with its famous university founded in the 13th century, is a beautiful city in which to study English. There is plenty to do and see from the architectural wonders of the colleges and the tranquility of the River Cam and punting along the Backs to the museums, botanical gardens and parks.
In Cambridge you'll find many cafés, pubs, restaurants, theatres and cinemas. There are also numerous concerts of all kinds and an Annual Arts Festival (July).
Sports facilities in and around Cambridge include various sports centres, swimming pools, tennis, golf, horse riding, ice-skating, football and cricket.

Host Family Accomodation All students have the opportunity to stay in local homes. All accomodation has been visited and inspected by a representative of the school ensuring that the accomodation is of a suitable standard. Breakfast and evening meals are included in the cost. Prices are for a shared rooms or single rooms.
There is also accomodation organised by the School in Students Rooms with en suite shower and kitchen facilities. Cambridge also offers excellent guesthouses and hotels for any student who does not wish to stay with a family or in Students Rooms.
Travel - Nearest Airports: Cambridge Centre for English Studies
London Stansted airport is the closest International airport to Cambridge. There is a regular Jetlink coach service to Cambridge. The school can arrange for you to be met by a taxi.
Luton airport is also close to Cambridge and is served by the regular Jetlink service. London Heathrow An Underground and train service (via Kings Cross or Liverpool Street, London) to Cambridge takes about 2-3 hours and costs about £40.The school can also arrange for you to be met.
London Gatwick is the furthest airport from Cambridge but is connected by train-underground-train to Cambridge and takes 3-4 hours.
