British Life & Culture - Ages 13-17 25 hours of lessons/programmed activities each week Part A - Morning programme - 15 hours Part B - Afternoon programme - 10 hours Part C - Excursions These are challenging courses for bilingual and advanced level students. The courses focus on life, literature and culture through workshops, discussion groups, project work and visits.
Part A - Morning programme - 15 hours Advanced Language Skills - exploring language style in different contexts, for example - giving presentations, writing poetry. Themed Study - examines the use of English in the media, art and art history, or English Voices, which looks at the work of Shakespeare in the context of other English literature.

Part B - Afternoon programme Visits provide real life experience of the themes studied on the programme. The course in Cambridge focuses on the university and city of Cambridge. The course in Bloxham focuses on the university city of Oxford and Shakespeare Country - Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon.

Part C - Excursions The sports and social programme is shared with other students following Bell courses at the centre. All courses have a full-day excursion to London.
