This small professionally run school, perfect for students serious about improving their English, has a friendly atmosphere with many social activities and events. The code of practice guarantees professional standards both in terms of teaching quality and student welfare. Every week the school organises a diary of events. This can include a trip to the cinema/theatre, a party, disco, quiz night, pub evening, barbecue, sport, ten-pin bowling, a day excursion.....The full-time Social Activities Organiser is in daily contact with the students and you can help plan events.

Mornings only, Monday to Friday. The focus of these lessons is on the devolopment of speaking and listening skills to give you greater confidence and fluency in communication in English. Acceptance onto any exams course is at the discretion of the Director of Studies. You will be tested on arrival and if the level of English is not satisfactory, you will either transfer to an exam at a lower level or take an intensive course. IELTS & TOEFL courses: If there are fewer than 2 students registered on IELTS and TOEFL courses, the school may reduce the number of exam afternoons to two only. On the other afternoons, there will be the option to join another course.

Ideal for students who wish to combine a General English course with language and communication skills which will help them in a commercial environment. It will also prepare students who wish to take the Cambridge Business English Certificate Consists of 28 (50 minutes) classes per week mornings and afternoons. | Accomodation - Sussex English Language School | All students have the opportunity to stay in local homes. All accomodation has been visited and inspected by a representative of the school ensuring that the accomodation is of a suitable standard. All the host family accommodation is within walking distance of the school and town centre. You will be the only student of your mother tongue with a family, unless you make a special request. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals are included in the cost (on school days a packed lunch will be provided). Prices are for single rooms*. *Note that in July and August younger students may be requested to share a room with another student of a different nationality Acommodation is from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday.
Apart from accomodation organised by the School, Worthing offers excellent guesthouse, B&B, and hotel accomodation for any student who does not wish to stay with a family. |

| | Travel - Nearest Airports: Sussex English Language School | London Gatwick airport is the closest International airport to Worthing. There is a direct train service from the airport terminal to Worthing which takes about 40 minutes and costs about £10. Alternatively, the school can arrange for you to be met by taxi. Taxis can be shared by up to three people. London Heathrow A coach and train service (via Victoria London) takes about 100 minutes and costs about £30.The school can also arrange for you to be met.Stansted and Luton airports (not recommended) are north of London and the journey to Worthing is long and expensive. A one-way taxi costs at least £100. The journey on public transport takes about 3 hours. |
